Head Chef

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary / Rate: Up to £50,000 per year*

We’re looking for a Head Chef who knows how to run a proper kitchen.

This isn’t a quiet pub kitchen – it’s a busy venue, standards are high, and the team needs someone who can lead from the front, keep things organised, and make sure the food going out is something to be proud of.

If you enjoy running a tight kitchen, building a strong team, and keeping service flowing even when it’s full-on, this could be a great fit.

What you get:

  • Salary up to £50k depending on experience
  • Tips and tronc payments on top of salary
  • Closed Christmas Day
  • Consistent hours in a busy venue
  • A friendly, supportive team around you
  • The chance to have a real say in menus and specials

What the job involves:

You’ll be responsible for running the kitchen day to day – leading the team, keeping standards high, and making sure service runs smoothly.

This means being comfortable managing a busy service, organising prep, maintaining stock and ordering, developing menus, and creating an environment where the kitchen works well together.

Day to day you’ll be:

  • Running the kitchen and leading the team during service
  • Managing prep, ordering, and kitchen organisation
  • Keeping food quality and presentation consistent
  • Training and supporting the kitchen team
  • Working with management on menus, specials, and seasonal changes
  • Making sure the kitchen runs efficiently and stays well organised

What we’re looking for:

  • An experienced Head Chef
Someone who knows how to run a busy kitchen and stay calm under pressure
  • A leader who supports their team and sets the tone in the kitchen
  • Someone who takes pride in the food they serve and the kitchen they run

If you’re looking for a role where you can lead a busy kitchen, work with a good team, and have real input into what you’re serving, we’d love to have a chat.

We’re on the hunt for a solid Sous Chef who actually enjoys the graft, can run a pass properly, and takes pride in what leaves the kitchen.

This isn’t a quiet number. It’s busy, the standards are high, and you’ll be expected to step up when needed. But the teams are class, the kitchens are well run, and the pay reflects the work.

What the job actually involves

You’ll be the person keeping the wheels turning when the Head Chef isn’t around. That means being comfortable running the pass, keeping the team organised, and making sure every plate going out is something you’re happy to put your name to.

What you get

  • Salary up to £40k
  • Closed Christmas Day
  • Consistent work all year round
  • Easy to get to – accessible by local bus routes
  • Busy kitchens that keep things interesting
  • A strong team around you
  • The chance to have a say in specials or menu ideas

Day to day you’ll be

  • Running services and controlling the pass when needed
  • Supporting and leading the kitchen team
  • Making sure standards stay high, even when it’s busy
  • Helping with ordering, prep, and general kitchen organisation
  • Getting involved with specials or menu ideas if that’s something you enjoy

What we’re looking for

  • A Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
  • Someone calm under pressure who can handle a busy service
  • Pride in your food and standards
  • A team player who gets stuck in and leads by example

If you’re looking for somewhere you can get stuck in, run a proper service, and work with a good bunch, this could be a good fit
